…While I’m recovering from my book launch (of which more in a later post), here’s the Vintage von O clutching some books as (I believe) Don Ramiro in La Finta Giardiniera at the Aix-en-Provence Festival 1984.

I don’t know what my feelings are doing. This is awesome – why haven’t I seen it before? And congratulations to your book launch!
Definitely the Opera
“I don’t know what my feelings are doing” — yep, just about covers it.
There are many good images preserved in printed programs and books that are not scanned or digitized in any way yet. I’m hoping to keep finding those. This one I think I got via email by an Otterian in the Netherlands.

An Otterian Love the terminology.
Never you mind the terminology — worship the Clark Gable ‘stache.
Ah bless her Fearless even at the prospect of dodgy facial hair, brava!
I want more staches, and I never thought I’d say that. She’d even look perfect with a mullet.

Wow, ASvO definitely pulls off the illusion in this photo. I kinda like the stache, and I always like a guy in glasses!
I am just listening to the new Rene Jacobs La Finta, I wonder how it compares…

I don’t find her hilarious, but incredibly attractive. Then, maybe I am a mezzosexual…
I think Otter can blend hilarious and attractive really well, when required.
Welcome, La Señora Bi, have a cocktail.
